Re: Pressures.
I can't and don't make statements about what is an across the board high pressure. Need more information like how big are the compressor and condenser/fan relative to each other, and how much HVAC cooling load. 2000 Dodge Neon running 400 psig at idle 110F ambient, it's OK, normal. 2015 Silverado r...

Pressures.
Respectfully I am going to ask what some are thinking are high pressures. I have seen many posts where there is a suggestion of high-pressure issues when it's listed even below 325psi. I personally think trying to achieve some specific high side number puts an unachievable thought in readers' minds....

Re: Compressor Cycles every 30 seconds
I am doing the work myself and have access to a manifold and vacuum pump. I am quite certain the system is not low on refrigerant. These are the last steps I took after talking to the people on the forum: 1. Vacuumed the system to around 29 in Hg for 30 minutes. 2. Charged the system with r134a can...

Re: OEM vs. aftermarket valve cores
Santech has been in the gasket-O-ring business for a long time. People complain when the price is high & low anymore.

Re: Do I have a problem?
At 80 degrees ambient. You're hardly in an optimal temp range to perform diagnostics. Posted readings are not far off. Again, I would do nothing until it is warmer out. But that's just me.

Air temp: 79 Humidity <20% at idle: 36 on low side, 225 on high side, temps about 40 and greater at 1800RPM: 30 on low side, 220 on high side, temp about 38 and greater Misting at 1800 RPM: 30 on low side, 160 on high side, temps 38 and greater 220 psi, not sure why an issue is being raised about h...

Re: Do I have a problem?
Perfect pressures overall. 39 degrees while driving. Not sure why one would want to mess with it at all. As Cusser suggested, the issue could be freezing up. But it was stated the airflow never slowed down.
I'd leave it alone.
I'd leave it alone.

Re: AC compressor keeps cycling every 5 secs
I believe the specific charge level issue comes from some systems with a low refrigerant capacity. When a system refrigerant capacity is 6 or 7 ounces. Being off by using those amazon products can make things worse. When you have a 7-page thread on why I'm not cooling. I think it is beyond the abili...
