Compressor not kicking on. 96 ram 2500

Hello, I recently replaced my compressor, condenser, evaporator, both pressure switches and the orifice valve. Since the condenser got a hole in it a couple years ago

However, the compressor will not kick on when attempting to add refrigerant. Hooked up to the manifold after evacuation, the refrigerant bottle is tapped and pressurized the low side gauge when opened. However, the compressor will not kick on.
I jumped both the compressor and the low side/clutch switch on the evaporator which both times DID kick the compressor on so it works.

The pressure switch has continuity when depressed so I believe it works as well.

Im at a loss for what's not allowing the compressor to kick other than maybe the service port not being depressed all the way of maybe a blockage

Two potential issues come to mind:
1. Double-check that your Manifold Gauge Set is hooked up properly and that the yellow hose is oriented correctly. Some hoses have check valves in them, and if reversed, they won't flow.
2. You didn't mention the accumulator, which might be saturated with moisture and/or plugged up. Did you replace it along with the other components?

Hola, please state mileage.
It sounds like you are using the type of kit that only has the low side gauge. Please be sure you have the standard MSG gauge set such as pictured in John's avatar.
Be careful when jumping, you can do damage.
Was there any black sludge or glittery bits on the OT? Please give pressures at any point you are testing/jumping.
What did you do about oil?
You replaced the evap?? That is such a bear of a job.
