Rebuild

Post by robroute66 »

I am restoring a factory system on a 57 chevy. My problem is that 2 separate rebuilders have botched the job on the receiver dryer. In both cases, they did not install the caps back in the outlets, allowing the desccicant to become saturated and useless in the box. I even discussed this with the second rebuilder prior to shipping to their facility, who assured me this would not happen, and then they did exactly the same damn thing.

Anyone know some folks who can do this that don't have a workforce that apparently smokes pot while on the clock?

Have you tried Original Air Group? They are known in the industry for rebuilding old A/C components.
