5. Sometimes I get an error message when trying to submit a reply, so I do a Preview first, then click Submit. I don't know why, and it doesn't bother me. Laptop, Windows 10.

The under-hood decal always takes precedence over the manufacturer-published specs. That makes it 1.35 pounds times 16 ounces, resulting in 21.6 ounces net weight of R-134a.
The UV dye, added sparingly, won't hurt anything.
On the decal, does it specify what viscosity of oil your system takes? PAG-150 is common for GM vehicles using R-134a.
My preference is to leak-check primarily using an electronic leak detector, and secondarily by the UV dye and soap-bubbles methods.

I'll have to look again at the sticker under the hood. I don't think it said but, I've been known to miss things while reading. Thanks!

I checked again, and it just states Pag Oil With Dye.

Thanks for the link, I had already ordered one by the time I saw it.

Anyone know if it's possible to pull the orifice tube from under the front of the car on a Pontiac Grand AM GT? Neither the low or high side pressures seem to go high enough. I think it was 21.6 ounces according to the decal sticker. I managed to put two 12 ounce cans in. It never seemed to even try to get cold. Thanks!
