I did not pay attention to the readings, I was only going by amount of refrigerant.
It's a 100% must know what your operating pressures are, IMO.
In general, if someone else is charging the system. Ask them to write them down or, better yet. Observe what they are doing yourself and write it down.

It's a little low, then, which might be a factor as far as center vent temperatures (CVT's) go. Also, the truck sitting stationary in the driveway will tend to drive-up CVT's and pressures because of the lack of airflow through the condenser. Most pros charge to the maximum specified amount. You will always have a little refrigerant remaining in the MGS and hoses (or in the hoses of an RRR machine), unless you channel that back into the low-side service port. Home mechanics usually forget to do that. So even if you fill a system to the maximum amount, you will still be slightly under the maximum charge.

Now that I have got the system working, and quite sure I do not have a leak, I am happy with the results. I have an appointment to have it evacuated and recharged by my local ac guy just for assurance that all is as it should be.

Update:
I took the truck and had the ac serviced Aug 4, and I asked to keep track of the operating pressures while charging the system, but he did not do that for whatever reason. Why is it so hard to get anything done the way you want it today?
Center vent temperature reads 41°F at an ambient of 83°F/ and 70 % humidity cruising at 45 MPH.
I am to return in a week and check for any leaks? Is this normal?
