Gm high side service port

Post by Turbo »

Does anyone know the reason why GM used the rubber ball design instead of an old faithful schrader valve design. I see aftermarket companies make a schrader valve design to replace the OEM ball. Before installing aftermarket parts on a vehicle, I wanted know the reason behind this change. What has me confused is they kept the schrader type on the low side.

And my mom always exclaimed when stuff she made was rare/raw or burnt: that's the way it's "supposed to be" !!!
