Do I really need a recharge?
My car's A/C needs a new blower motor and resister. The current freon is still bubbling and full, so why do I need a recharge?
Re: Do I really need a recharge?
A blower motor replacement does not require a recharge, unless lines need to be removed for access. However, since there is only one way to know if it is full; a repair shop may recommend a recover and recharge to confirm the accuracy of the charge.
