Need some help figuring out whats wrong

Post by Justin »

So my AC isnt blowing cold air any more. From what ive read the line from the compressor to the condenser should be hot (like 110°) then the line from the condenser to the dryer should be much cooler. But the line from condenser to dryer isnt cool at all its the same temp as the outside air. Also i connected a presure gauge to the low presure side of the system which ive read should be around 30psi but its way up around 80. So my question is does any of this point towards a specific component? I was told it was the compressor but if so why would the line from the compressor be heating up? My basic understanding makes me think its the condensor or a clog somewhere in the system. What should my next step be? Thanks

You need pressures from both the high and low side to diagnose a system.

We would need to know the year make & model of your car to make even a basic assessment.

You check the pressure properly. If you facing problem you need to contact with professional, who guide you properly what you do or what you need?
