I think they gave me the wrong orifice tube, would this cause problem?

I ordered a smart VOV orifice tube and installed it with a system rebuild on a 93 Cadillac Fleetwood. After doing a little reading it appears that they sent me the extreme heat version intended for use in desert environments. I am in the muggy Ohio valley. The system seems to cycle more than normal. Could this be the source of the cycling? The gauges show the low side dropping fairly rapidly
