No low side service port

Post by Fishin »

Was trying to put Freon into a 05 Dodge Neon. There is no low side service port. There is a port on the high side. A mechanic buddy said this is happening a lot on new vehicles. But on a 05 Neon? Is there anyway to put Freon into the system for the average home mechanic? Thanks.

That's the high side. The one to the right is the low side. Thanks.

Is this a block TXV on the firewall or a CCOT car with a cycling switch? Dodge did it both ways.
