Went ahead with the Zero stuff. Cooling is adequate to good, It's possible that it is not as cold as r134a.

I use a digital laser infrared thermometer to measure output temperature and got some pretty good readings. I aimed the beam into the vent. Temperatures consistently read in the mid 30 degrees. It was 90 degrees out. Don't know if this manner of measuring is as accurate as is using true ac temperature thermometer but the results are at the very least encouraging.
