Hi I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L V6. I replaced the condenser and drier on the van about a week ago. When I removed the condenser there was quite a bit of oil in it. I neglected to capture how much.
My question is do I need to put 2 or 3 oz of ND8 PAG oil into the system via the manifold gauges when recharging the system or since the compressor was not changed it shouldn't need oil? It seems to me the pervious owner may have had the ac charge with coolant with a lot of oil in it?
Also while I am asking how to I tell if I have a dual system in the van (would there be a separate ac button for the rear)?
Thanks,
