Expansion valve

Hi to all. my 2007 Volkswagen Touareg A/C stop working thought was the compressor valve but it turn out to be the compressor burn out now I have to flush the system i am concern about removing the expansion valve . Hoping is not like the BMW with plate

Does the vehicle have rear A?C?

Standard block type expansion valves in both systems.

Yes with rear ac
