Hello all, I have a 73 nova that has a expansion valve/poa system. I have swapped motors to ls powertrain and a s7 sanden compressor. I will be using a new larger condenser and 134a. My plan is to split the evap case and install a later model nova or silverado evap core and receiver drier that has the orfice tube receiver built in. My plan is to rewire the system to a cycling clutch setup like in the later gm cars. I know they have kits to replace the poa valve, but I want to elimin ate the expansion valve/sense bulb/remote drier/ etc, to the simpler orfice tube cycling clutch. Has anyone done this or see any problems with this?
