adding oil after top off?

I added 10 oz of r134a to the system after over 15 yrs of use. Do I need to add oil also? Thanks

A19, thanks for your response. Would it be normal to leak that amount over 15 yrs? 98 Jeep xj

Not uncommon at all. Auto AC systems are designed to leak a tiny amount out of the compressor seal, to keep the shaft lubricated.
