There are many different binary switches. Most are a low/high switch. Not seeing would one work. I do not know as I can't see how the vehicle is wired. I would think Trans Air used 2 for a reason.

For some reason the coach builders put both bungs on the HP side, one back near the compressor and on up front at the condensor area. None on the LP side. This is not consistent with what Trans/Air recommends. They suggest one on each side. Since I don't want to add more bungs, the question is will a high/low binary switch on the HP side provide adequate protection? The wiring of switches is not an issue because there is no computer and I am doing my own wiring. Switch wiring is simple, coming from a relay hooked up to the on/off switch to supply 12v to the binary switch.

If the goal is to simply shut the compressor off under a low or high-pressure issue. Plus changing the wiring from OEM. A single switch will work for those situations if a switch is wired in the clucth circut.

Yes but that single switch needs to be plumbed into the low side, right???

The binary switch should be on the high side preferably the liquid line. What are you thinking the binary switch will do for you?
