Re: 1997 Sebring 2.5L A/C warm (details inside)

Make sure your temp doors are working- go to full heat and full cold see if there is a differential. At 35 psi lo side- you should have cold return lines to compressor and cooling inside evap.

Re: ac gasket vs oring

If it is a manifold- NO o-rings- use sealing washers- not metal gaskets...If o-ring connector- there will be o-ring grooves!

Re: R12 Charging Problem

You don't "jump" the switch, you jump the connector to the switch....If a/c compressor does not come on when doing this, then you have another issue- such as a relay, or high pressure switch unplugged, or a power steering switch unplugged- get a wiring diagram of your a/c circuit and do th...

Re: Evaporator Temp Sensor

I'd be more afraid of high pressure- when you jumper the relay, you have no control- if head pressure should rise to over 400 psi- the system cannot shut off compressor and you chance blowing out the high pressure relief valve- if really hot out- there needs to be an electrical cut-out which you wil...

Re: Question: High side port....

Yes, you can buy the port with ball valve assembly inside- there is a tool for easy removal, but a pair of vice grips works just fine- be sure the port valve assembly casing that screws onto the line is threaded okay and tight- Three times in my life, I have attempted to remove a cap by unscrewing i...

Re: 01 f250 high low side and high side pressures

Put a virgin 30 lb tank upsidedown and attach to compressor hose port with adapter- and let it fill- recover with your machine out the suction port with adapter- if your machine can recover, it can flush.

Re: 01 f250 high low side and high side pressures

If your machine is a recovery machine, it can do flushes. Simply fill at compressor discharge port connection and recover from suction connection-then reverse the flow- with appropriate flushing adapters- very simple- remove any expansion devices first, and if a TXV system- use a "dummy" t...

Re: 01 f250 high low side and high side pressures

Most likely- you probably washed it out with the remaining flush that could not be "blown out" of the system. Never put any degreasers in a system that you can't get it all out!. Seen this numerous times- I only flush with refrigerant, that way it all comes out, and if some was to be left ...
