Hook up the gauges and unplug the blower motor. The low side should drop to 26PSI. If not bad POA is most probable cause.

You could also purchase a vehicle specific kit with all o-rings. Tim should have them.

Fords had that problem of either low charge or bad cycling switches. What happens (low charge) is the refrigerant system will quick cycle when going down the highway. At idle the temps will be fine. The first thing to do when you have most AC problems is to verify the correct charge.. and thus elimi...

Did you recover and recharge to factory specs? Sounds like a refrigerant charge problem.

VOV's work better for low speed as in a mail delivery vehicle. For regular operations, just use a regular orfice tube. Superheat is not used in MVAC due to the ever changing conditions.

You can not get an accurate temp using an infared thermometer due to emissary problems. Depending upon the reflectance of the metal the reading will vary. That is the reason why it is suggested to "shoot" an area that is black. If you shoot an area that is shinny, both in and out of the ac...
