Re: 92 S10 Truck Blows Air Out Floor Vent Only
Is it possible that the coil is weak and letting the clutch to slip and causing it to make noise? If clutch is slipping, that should be evident visually. I just last month fixed an intermittent slipping AC clutch on my 1998 Frontier. I removed a shim under the drive plate, and now it works fine. Wh...

Re: '05 Honda Civic A/C runs even when switched off
We had a similar issue last month with our 2005 Yukon. Blower motor would sometimes stay on even after key was removed. Sometimes blower motor would not run at all, so no AC. Mechanic replaced both the blower fan (which had some physical resistance) and the blower resistor, and that fixed it.

Re: A/C Compressor Clutch
I'm not clear on whether the compressor seized and caused the clutch failure, or if this is simply an AC clutch issue. Can the compressor itself be turned with a wrench? If only a pulley bearing, maybe a replacement bearing can be obtained and installed. Typically, buying an AC clutch is comparable ...

Your computerized stuff is interesting, but first ensure that the AC clutch is not disengaging when you rev.

Re: 2006 Saturn Vue cooling at idle
Over the last 2 years the A/C would cool fine going down the road and immediately stop cooling at a stop. What am I missing? To me, this seems to align with a failure to cool the condenser properly; so I'd make sure all the fans are operational whenever the AC is running. Also make sure that the fa...

Might need NEW Sanden SD708 Model 7225 compressor
I might need a NEW Sanden SD708 Model 7225 compressor or other clone you have confidence in, not a remanufacture/rebuilt. I bought the current SD708 Model 7225 from you at Arizona Mobile Air at the Clarendon location October 2014, and it appears to have a leak in the compressor body seam, at the rea...

Re: Old R12 System
To update in case anyone wonders; I swapped out compressors and the system functions perfectly. Great !!! We like to hear the updates. Three weeks ago I removed a thin AC clutch shim to restore full operation of my 1998 Frontier AC clutch; I don't think that I posted anything when I had that interm...

Re: 2009 Honda Accord Intermittent AC Cooling
Check the compressor clutch gap. Bohica is wondering if the AC clutch is slipping, causing your intermittent cooling. Visually check to see if the center of the AC compressor is turning when this lack of cooling is observed. Two weeks ago I had similar issue on my 1998 Frontier - the AC clutch was ...

Re: AC stops working when I rev the engine (live data video)
Hello, I have Audi A6 from 2006. When I rev the engine past 2000 rpm the AC stops working. If I rev the engine again I hear a hissing sound and the AC starts working normally. I made a video with live data. As you can see from it, the gas pressure drops immediately after I rev the engine and the ev...
