Forgot to mention, we had to run 12 volts to the compressor so we could get gauge readings. Looked like old evidence of a leak at the case halves of the compressor. I recommended he replace the compressor, condenser, accumulator, orifice tube, and flush the evaporator and any lines without mufflers....

Low side was going to 0 on high idle.

I have a CPS micron gauge that is like to hook up to my gauge set. What fittings do I need?

I have experienced a control valve problem on my nephew’s Ford 500 a couple years ago. I didn’t know GM also used them.
