Charge to factory specs. 45 psi is high for an expansion block system.

A high side pressure of 450psi. Is going to kill performance. Spray some water on the condenser and see if the pressures come down.

Things to look at, condenser fins, fans not working or an over charged system of oil or refrigerant.

My information shows it to be, an evaporator mounted OT. Check the liquid line outlet on the evaporator.

I do not believe this compressor has a relief valve on it. But might double check the back of the compressor. Question I have, is compressor is leaking refrigerant badly when operating. Is someone just adding more and more refrigerant? What are the pressures? Are the electric fans coming on correctl...

Each compressor has its own resistance. An A6 will take a lot more torque to turn compared to a Scroll compressor. Most compressors can be turned by hard with reasonable resistance.

Add 80% to the compressor via the suction port. 20% to the accumulator.
