this test is with the system being under a condition of charged. Make sure vehicle has run for 10 minutes or so the stabilize the refrigerant syatem.

I have to disagree. If you shut it down a few minutes before shutting down the vehicle, you will give the evaporator time to let the condensate run off. Due to the old age of most POA's, Try not to supply over 75 PSI instead of 100 PSi.

I would have put 8 oz of oil in the compressor. That is where oil is needed. 3 oz is not enough in my opinion. You probably cooked the compressor.
