Re: 2003 Tahoe Parts Confusion
The irony is, now Tim still won't sell the parts but now it's on account of you tbirdtbird. If available and you're in the US. I don't see why we would not ship items to you. With little support these days. Next year when server renewal is due. Choices will be made. 1996 to 2022 was a pretty good r...

Re: Can I test a R12 system with R134a for a few minutes?
Please remove the eBay links from our site. They do not support the costs of running it. If running R12 then there is no need for an upgrade condenser or an office tube change, IMO. Ford spent a lot of money to determine the proper oil return and pressure levels when designing these systems. Detroit...

Re: Can I test a R12 system with R134a for a few minutes?
The Four-Season compressor link you sent was not a Motorcraft compressor. People get hooked on OE brands. Aftermarket compressors are not the issue. It's how repairs are done that plays a bigger factor. But of course, an improper procedure is done. It will always be the compressor's fault. Like play...

Re: New A6 Compressor received with wrong oil type
If you already have purchased the compressor. Why are you asking me a dozen questions about it via email this morning? I guess my time has no value.

I would suggest getting an actual gauge set.

I'd start with a proper evacuation and charge procedure. Know your baseline so to speak.
