Looks to me you're not pumping very much refrigerant. 60 & 110 @2000. Ambient is a littlew low but think if working correctly you would see a range closer to 35 & 200 @ 2000 RPM.

It is odd but happens when a seal will hold under vacuum and leak under pressure or the other way around. Just the type of pressure placed on the seals. As stated the first step is a solid leak test.

It was so long ago all I remember is pushing around a york with an electric swamp cooler motor. You have to remember, I'm still a kid today! LOL

Somewhere on the old site I posted a picture of an FS6 that would pump down to 800 microns on the suction side - with the discharge open to atmosphere. I was only turning that FS6 about 250 rpm too.
