Re: New Motorcraft compressor, clutch wouldn't turn by hand, squealed after installation

In all of that! Do you ever list the low side pressure reading? High sider of 175 is low. Tubes on the evap mildly cool. I know you claim to have the right amount of refrigerant. Really looks like an undercharged system. Plus not all designs work great. You can only get so much out of a system if it...

Re: Custom system Pag Oil and Refrigerant

You have enough oil in the Sanden compressor for your system with the condenser. By using a PF condenser you should be able to charge the system close to the OEM amounts. Bottom line the upgraded condenser is doing the work for you.

Re: New Motorcraft compressor, clutch wouldn't turn by hand, squealed after installation

Was on the phone with our compressor vendor for another reason. Asked about these compressors. I was informed they either blow a hole in the side of the compressor and or toss tons of debris in the system when they fail. So a slap on replacement of a compressor could be an issue. And pressure readin...

'06 Navigator and 42-degree vent temps. Not sure what you expect from a large vehicle like this! The coil will freeze at 32 and there is 6 to 8 difference between coil temp and vent temp. To really help much further. I think listing pressures at idle and 1500 rpm will give a better picture. Ford Scr...

Debris?

Why was the compressor replaced?

Why buy another? Won't you get a warranty from your vendor?

Re: V5 control valve

The system has to be empty and the o-ring makes the valve feel like it is stuck. You must remove the snap ring.

Re: blue or red orifice tube

Not sure what could be the log in issue. As you can see, there is not a lot of difference between the Blue and Red. I've looked at other sources for the liquid line and there is no listing as to which tube is being used. One source shows just an OT and it is Red. UAC really should have a support sit...
