Given that you are using the precious R12, I would add that a good investment would be an electronic sniffer, and I would sniff the system every once in a while to head bad things off. I did it one more time. Got down to 165ish microns and after an hour or so it leveled off around 500-600 microns. I think I'm good.

Doesn't that only apply when converting from R12 to R134a.
