Re: Need a good AC shop recommendation Greensboro NC.

Lacking a response from someone on this forum who lives there, I'd look for a shop that specializes primarily in MVAC instead of tire shops and chain stores that do A/C work on the side. Might be worth asking friends, family, and neighbors, as well as checking with MACS and the BBB. Thanks for the ...

Need a good AC shop recommendation Greensboro NC.

Would appreciate all recommendations for good AC shops in the Greensboro NC area. Would even be willing to go as far as Raleigh. Thanks very much!

Re: New member needs advice from the AC experts. :)

Another update: I've found the shop that's gonna do the work, they maintain my wife's '15 X1 and we've been very happy with them and I found out they do complete AC work as well. They have a very professional operation. Next is to call site sponsor Tim's outfit to see what my options are. I'm firm o...

I also need to first talk to the shop that's gonna install the parts, I want to get some idea of what ...

Re: New member needs advice from the AC experts. :)

Why switch to 134a? R12 is still available. A new aftermarket compressor is available. The replacement condenser for that car is a Serpentine style, and those work very well. The site sponsor should be able to help you with both of those items. Call AC Kits on Monday and ask for Tim 602-233-0090 AC...

New member needs advice from the AC experts. :)

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. I need to replace the AC system in my 1990 Mazda Miata and would like some guidance. My apologies for the wall of text. :D Ok so my AC stopped working in my car a while back. I took it to a place that specializes in older vehicles that use R12, since no norma...
