There have been many discussions about using an electric compressor in a car that was not designed for it from the ground up.I am thinking about discussions involving one of our star technicians who goes by the name Bohica.

You could size the pulleys so as to achieve the spec 1800 rpm at idle, but what happens when he puts his foot in it.

This is an impossible task. At idle the comp is doing nearly 0 work.

How can you test the vacuum while the system is under pressure? (post 6)

Examine the depth to the depressor when the knob is in the open position vs the closed position.
I have seen the depressor knobs marked backwards.

As has been suggested, the testo graph is not all that helpful.
Please run engine at 1800 RPM , doors open, AC set to max fan and max fan, install a standard MSG onto the schraders, and get a suitable digital thermometer into the center vent, and report back when the compressor clutch is activated ...

Please recall that a pro would use an AC machine with a 30# bottle and just dump in the factory charge. 99.999% of the time this is sufficient for the comp to start.
