COMPRESSOR FLUSHING

I have an ac compressor which was using R12 oil and refrigerant but,now,I would like to use said compressor in a system which uses r134a oil and refrigerant. The question i would like to ask is if it's ok to use r134a oil to flush this compressor which was using r12 oil?

The compressor is the valve type.

That is how a "compressor oil flush" is done, rinsing old out with new; no solvents.
