What's the best automotive AC compressor for you? And tell us why?

I like OEM Sanden and Densos. Your results may vary. I would like to know who makes the best rebuilds? I have systems that are working that are 15 years old with no problems.

To generic of a question, as all brands have good and poor models.

Hi,

I like Delphi CS0120 Air Conditioning Compressor, because it exceeds OE specifications and your own expectations. It has better prices than local auto parts. When the clutch kicks in, the unit gives a noisy sound like the internal bearing.

The auto air conditioning compressor is basically a pump with an intake side and a free side. On the intake side, refrigerant is pull from the output of the evaporator coils located within the vehicle.

You gotta be careful with Denso these days. Denso only makes compressors for active model years. Legacy/non-denso app compressors are from Denso USA, who is just a Chinese importer mostly.

Buy a denso compressor for a Ford FS10 application. In the box you will find a slip that says "Denso sources compressors from trusted partners." Last time it was a 4S in the box.

You don't buy AC Compressor buy brand names, companies for the most part either sell new or rebuilt older ones from that model. That's why there are "core" charges when you buy one so they can get the old ones and rebuild them. I would tell you this there are different levels of rebuild and some companies are really cheap.
