Hello
Hi to everyone. I am a new member as of today. I've been an auto mechanic for thirty years, Ac was not my field but I have the basics and have done a lot of Ac work in the past and present. I needed a recovery machine bad, because I am retired now and do a lot of Ac work here in the Tampa area. Just recently bought a used Solar 134A recovery unit. I was trying to find parts, does anyone know of where I can get parts or maybe know of a service man I can contact in reference to a relay I need. The machine will come on and pull the vac, but when switched to the other setting I guess recover without looking, the pump or pumps will not work in that direction, now if I switch the relays around, then the other switch will cycle in the other direction that it's suppose to do. So I figure I need a new relay being it works with one good relay, the other must be burned or wore out, Have not tore into it or checked the contacts yet? My terminology may be different then it should be so please hang in there with me, does anyone have any advice on this recovery unit? I do have the manual that only tells how to operate the unit and that is it, no wiring schematics or nothing like that. I have took the front panel off to verify the Vac pump was still there and it is. I will check and change the oil in that later on. This unit looks to be in really good shape, not misused or anything and all seems to function except for what I have described. Any advice or help putting me in the right direction would be helpful and I would be most grateful. Thank You for taking the time to read my post. Robb
Solar is a Clore Automotive Brand. They have not offered A/C Service machines for a while (I think they were made in Italy). But you may try to inquire with techservice@cloreautomotive.com

A good close up picture of the relay might help. Also, are there any numbers on the relay? A lot of parts a sourced from manufacturers. your relay may be a standard relay. You could try mouser Electronics if you had some info on your relay.
