My 67 Camaro is cooling fine and temp is where it should be. However, After driving in city or highway speeds, the lines around and including the POA valve, are all frosted up. Normally I would think I was low on R12, but just left the shop and freon is fine. Any thoughts? Thanks
The freon is fine?? How did they know? Only way to know for sure is to extract and weigh the refrigerant- if not to factory spec- then look for leak- fix it and evacuate and recharge to factory fill specification- by weight, not by pressure.

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
They said the sight glass in the dryer was clear, the low side pressure was 30, and temp was fine, the freon was ok. They did an extensive check for leaks and nothing showed up. This has been going on for at least a month and there has been no temperature drop. I am not an a/c guy. That is why I am posting. Thanks!
