2005 Chevrolet Classic 2.2L Compressor Oil capacity

atenSpro on Wed January 28, 2015 8:50 PM User is offline

Year: 2005
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Classic
Engine Size: 2.2L

The charts I have seen so far don't list the Classic 2.2L. I'm wondering how much oil to add to a new A/C compressor and Accumulator/Drier? They have no oil in them right now. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the oil fill spec for the 2005 Malibu. But if everything is clean and dry, you can distribute the full amount of oil in various places; it really does not matter, as it will all be moving thru the system upon start up. Just make sure you rotate the compressor some before start up to prevent "hydraulic" damage (its a gas compressor, not an oil pump).
