Year: 2004
Make: Mitsubishi
Engine Size: 2.4
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: 90
Pressure Low: 45
Pressure High: 150
Any help with this ac problem would be greatly appreciated. The car is a galant and has new compressor, dryer, and expansion vavle. The high side will hold steady at 150 but slowly drop to 100. Then the compressor will kick in and bring it back up to 150. But never does it blow cold. Thanks in advance for the help. Brian

Why the new compressor? If previous compressor underwent an actual failure (as opposed to leaks), and wasn't properly flushed (and condenser replaced), all the debris from the previous compressor will have remained to destroy the new compressor as well.
Classic sign of low refrigerant. Have it evacuated, vacuumed and refilled to the correct level. If the level is ok then check the operation of the cooling fan which, depending on ambient temp should kick in pretty soon after the compressor starts pumping. If the fan does not kick in or kicks in for a few seconds and then stops then you have either a fan problem or electrical glitch.
