Is PAG oil compatible with POE oil ? Or vice versa ?

They will mix and they will move with R134a. But I do not know of any specific compressor lubrication requirement such a mix would meet.

I was reading of an A/C flush fluid that was said to be primarily POE oil ?

Made me wonder , if you were working on a PAG system & if you did not get all the POE out of the system ?

Thanks ,

POE oil flushes are promoted on the premise that remaining residual will be (or is) compatible with the systems oil. Since it is not a solvent type which can be force evaporated; how much is left behind? My testing indicates measurable amounts; often much more than an ounce depending on the component design. So now you need to know how much is left behind, so it can be subtracted from the full oil load amount. Clean and dry is a much easier starting point to calculate from.
