2004 Dakota no cool.
Engine RPM at 1500 during checks.
denso 10s17e compressor.
Truck is less than 10 years old and has a rebuilt compressor on it. Obviously something happened.
Lots of trash in the lines when I opened it up but the orifice wasn't totally plugged. Should be doing some cooling.
Pressures would seem to indicate compressor not pushing anything. Covered front of condenser. Pressure did not change.
The folks are still trying to decide whether they can afford to repair the truck.
I have a 2000 Durango doing the same thing. Sanden compressor.
Showing the same pressures. Changed the compressor on it and didn't change a thing. Also put a new oem expansion valve and dryer.
I need some advice on this problem.

Trash in the lines means the compressor is shot, where else would it have come from? Total system replacement is not off the table. If the shop has a good flushing machine you may be able to reuse the evaporator, but replace everything else.
