Year: 1990
Make: chevy
Model: pickup
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: r134a
I am actually using r134a but need to get a scale of some sort to weigh the amount going in. I had a basic digital postal scale but it did not stay on and I had to keep turning it back on every few minutes. This is just for my cars so I really do not want to spend any more than needed. Thanks
We have a couple digital scales at our shop. Nothing fancy at all.

These is the set I use with excellent results. You may find it a little cheaper if you look around:

Whatever method decided upon, remember to add sufficient refrigerant to insure that the manifold/gauge assembly is pre filled. Typically add app 4 oz to the charge rate to accommodate for this.
