Engine Size: 5.7

Hi all,

My Chevy Tahoe's a/c system stops working after about 10 minutes of working great. The compressor is a fairly new delco which is less than a year old and was installed by a professional.

Once it works for a while and i guess overheats then it stops working. I turn the a/c off and turn it back on and I can hear the compressor engage and disengage immediately.

Please help me .. thank you!

Check your fan clutch/cooling fans. Sounds like the condenser isn't able to shed enough heat.

Spray water on the condenser; if that helps, your fan isn't cooling the condenser enough.
