jameshobbs on Wed June 27, 2012 6:48 AM User is offline

Year: 2000
Make: Buick
Model: CENTURY
Engine Size: 3.1
Refrigerant Type: R-134a

With ( V-5 ) belly leakier is it pulling air in when it is leaking at the case O-rings ? or just leaking R-134a out ?

IF the system has a charge and the static pressure and operating pressures are above atmosphere, it is only leaking refrigerant. IF the charge is lost or the low side drops below atmosphere (14.7 PSI), and IF the belly o-ring is directly in the low side circuit; it will then "suck" air.
