Changing out Evaporator Core and Rear Aux HVAC Blend Doors

Year: 2004
Make: Dodge
Model: Durango
Engine Size: 5.7
Refrigerant Type: 134a

I wanted to share a few pics of my experience with removing the AC evaporator in a 2004 Dodge Durango. I also had a broken blend door in the rear (auxiliary) HVAC unit. I had to replace the entire aux HVAC housing as MOPAR does not make the blend doors (they implemented a redesign requiring the whole thing to be replaced). Also included are pics when I replaced the evaporator core in my 86 Toyota Celica after 25 yrs of service.

Yep those pics pretty much cover it. Take everything out. Place it on the bench.
