Service Ports

Year: 2002
Make: Buick
Model: Lesabre
Engine Size: 3.8

I have a Buick Lesabre and was wondering where the low side service port is located. I have noticed that two ports are on the same line and someone said that the smaller port was the low side. I really don't understand how bot can be on the same line only 8" apart. That is what has me puzzled.
Just to clear things up, there is noting wrong with the ac. Just curious about the ports.

It's like that on many GM's, the orifice tube is in the connection in the middle so it separates the high side from the low side.

Ditto above

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
