01 Ford Escape not blowing cold air.. compressor on, levels look ok

Year: 01
Make: ford
Model: escape
Engine Size: 3.0
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: 80
Pressure Low: 30
Pressure High: 150
Country of Origin: United States

I have a 2001 ford escape that is not blowing cold air. First thing I did was vacuum down the system for 30 minutes, then hooked up my gauges and tank and proceeded to give it a charge. I know you are supposed to use a scale but i dont have one so i just went by the reading of the gauges. Usually 35 or so on the low side and 2-2.5 times the ambient temp has always worked for me. I let it charge for a while and the compressor eventually came on consistently (no cycling) and the low side was around 30 psi and high side was around 150. The ac was not blowing cold air at this point and no matter how long i let it charge, the levels of both the high and low side would not rise any more.

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Found the problem... the switch itself for the temp is pretty loose and the knob actually broke off... so when it was turned to COLD the door was not actually moving. Turning the metal piece that the knob fits onto made it blow cold again. I love it when problems like this end up being something simple!
