came across a slight hiccup in the parts supply, wondering if anyone else has seen .

old Rcvr/dryer below note the index hole positions





New one (again index holes)

Advance and autozone napa all have the same "" new "" one, lol ( but i did check)

well I went to place the order on the website.....

Hmmm 84.00 in shipping for a 1 lb / 11.00 part overnight is a little steep....
guess i'll keep looking
30 in shipping i woulda done, but not 84

or would it be better to phone your office to finish this up ?

Well if you are in a pinch, you could always take the roll pins out and install the one you have. Some cars don't even have a guide pin for their connections.

I was thinking about suggesting just taking the pins out too, but if you look closely the solid thing is under the center port on the wrong one instead of the side port like the old one. It seems designed for the opposite flow direction, which would not work.

That's what I think too - get the right part.
