Manifold gasket

Year: 1989
Make: Chev
Model: Corvette
Engine Size: 5.7
Refrigerant Type: R12

Just got my seals and gaskets from ACKits. I just noticed one small item when I opened up the kit #21-24688. It does not have the manifold gasket (looks like a stop sign). This kit is for the 10PA20C Denso compressor which I have.

I went back on line and looked at kit #21-24649 and the picture shows that kit having the gasket. This kit is for the 10PA17 compressor.

Why would the #21-24688 not have a new gasket?

Joel

No, I was just curious why the manifold gasket is not in one kit and is in another kit?
Why would the 10PA17 require a new gasket and the 10PA20 would not?

Thanks
Joel

Just the way vendors put together the kit. Most kits don;t come with the compressor manifold gasket.
