Year: 2005
Make: Chrysler
Model: Town & Country
Engine Size: 3.8
Refrigerant Type: 134
Country of Origin: United States

New to the forum, First post.
I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C, the front air works fine the rear air blows hot air.
History.
Both Front and Rear were working fine.
The original Comp bound up and was replaced.
Know the rear air will not cool, fan works but no cooling. plenty of hot air.
I have not wiring dwg and no layout location.
I do not know if the cooling controls for the rear air is working or not, not do I know how to check them.
Any guidance would be a great help.
Thank you in advance.

A new compressor was merely slapped on? No attempt to remove the inevitable little shards of the blown compressor from the system? The rear TXV is probably clogged. You could feel the rear suction line (the larger one) where it comes out from under the van, it should be cold. Without some major work I would not expect a long life from the new compressor.

You're not kidding... that poor new compressor was never even given a chance! Then again, depending on where the compressor was sourced from, it might have doomed the system.

I was told that they flushed the system, however from what you are telling me they did not flush the rear system.
Thank you,
And the saga goes on.
