Help! 01 Yukon...new dryer/compressor...groaning badly now

Year: 2001
Make: Gmc
Model: Yukon xl
Engine Size: 5.3
Refrigerant Type: 134
Ambient Temp: 85
Pressure Low: 48
Country of Origin: United States

Newbie here...I just changed my compressor, tension pulley, and dryer. I added 4oz oil to dryer and 8 oz to empty compressor. I then pulled vacuum. Then added 134 (with leak stop...all they had without oil). I was blowing ice cold (48) at left vent at idle. An hour later, blowing warmer and groaning while driving. I am confused as to what issue may be. Any thoughts? I need to get this thing fixed before Tuesday. I am supposed to drive 1200 miles east.

12 ounces of fresh oil added to the oil that was not flushed out. My concerns would be too much oil in the system and if there were debris left in the system from previous compressor failure.
