Replacing Condensor, what else?

bmiszuk on Sat July 23, 2011 1:42 PM User is offline

Year: 98&99
Make: Honda
Model: Civic
Refrigerant Type: 134

My son and daughter have '98 and '99 Honda Civics. Both of their condensers have the bottom 1/3 pretty much completely smashed flat by rocks or whatever, and neither of their A/C's work well unless they are on the highway. I plan to replace both of their condensors. Their condenser fans run when the A/C is on, I think they're just not getting good airflow through the condenser because of all the smashed fins.

When I do that, what else should I replace? Accumulator? Expansion valve?

Thanks.

Add a little oil and maybe the drier.
