i put a ground wire on one terminal and 12 volts off of battery to the other...wont ingage!!
is it shot? compressor is a ready aire 2394n
Disconnect the wire, read ohms resistance across that AC compressor clutch coil, post that.
Without that info, you may just have a "gap" issue. What happens if you wire it like you did, and then tap on the face of it with a hammer, does it pull in (engage) ?
Have you checked the clutch gap?
What is the coil resistance of the clutch?

i went to smack it and it came on by its self...i may of had a crummy ground...thanks guys..
