AC Repair shop in Tucson AZ

Cussboy on Mon June 27, 2011 8:15 PM User is offline

Year: 2008
Make: Mazda
Model: CX-7

Can anyone recommend an AC repair shop in Tucson, AZ to help my daughter? She apparently needs a shop there to find, then fix a small refrigerant leak in her Mazda, then restore the correct amount of refrigerant. This could be either a specialized auro AC repair shop, or a generalized repair shop that is well-experienced in automotive AC. Thanks.

Why do I think there's a leak? 6 ounces refrigerant was added 2 months ago, and then pressures and AC performance was fine. But now (OK, it is a heat wave, even for Arizona) she says the AC performance has dropped off some.

I think it's probably worth the less than two-hour trip to Phoenix to see to Tim. At least there won't be any second guessing about the job being done right, and for the right price.

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for for her. I DID try to talk her into making an appointment at AMA in Phoenix; I've had a repair done at AMA (while I waited) even though they are cross-town from me, and have bought two compressors, one evaporator, and one vacuum pump for work from them over the years. But I don't think she'll be coming this way soon, and she has her work in Tucson.
