Hello,
I have replaced my AC Compressor in my 1997 Grand Prix with a used one from a salvage yard from a Impala Police Car. They are the same compressor and I bought a bag of O-Rings but I do not seem to be using the correct ones for the compressor. I attempted to use the ones that were on the one I took off, meaning the ones that matched but vaccum was leaking from behind the compressor. Used two more different O-Rings but I think it is leaking again just slowly. Can only give me an indication of which O-Rings I should be using?
I found this and I had these in the kit I bought but it seemed to leak with them installed:

Maybe I did not tighten them correctly. Anyone have a torque specs? Should it be really tight or so so right?
I had used the ones like the ones above from kit Four Seasons 26728 but maybe those will fit better? Do I need to use more than one o-ring?
Any tips would help.
Thanks,
Jason
